The Ripley County Commissioners have passed an ordinance regarding false alarm calls to both residences and businesses.
This ordinance states that residents and business owners will be charged after the third false alarm call to their property. On the third call a charge of $25 will be imposed, fourth call will be $50 and the fifth call forward will be $100. All fines will be paid at the Sheriff’s Office.
