Ripley County has successfully completed its renewal to be StormReady.
Ripley County has been StormReady since 2015 and the National Weather Service now requires renewal every four years. Only four counties in District 9 have this status.
Rich Corkhum, EMA Weather Liaison/Admin Assistant, was very instrumental in making this happen. Because of his work we have such a great working relationship with our partners at the National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio.
